With 130 participants, 20 speakers, 15 hours of discussion, three theme blocks, and two special evenings, the Heat Treatment 4.0 seminar was a one-of-a-kind of event in the heat-treatment industry.

Seco/Warwick’s seminar was built around theme blocks, discussion panels, and lecturers from the best heat-treatment specialists.

From September 10 to 12, elite experts discussed modern industry solutions, technologies, and challenges.

The 22nd edition was officially opened by the new Seco/Warwick Group CEO, Sławomir Woźniak, and the event was led by friends from Lodz and Poznan Universities of Technology. This year, in cooperation with scientists, the program was divided into three theme blocks: aviation and energy industries, mass industry, and service hardening. Although the lectures and discussion panels were substantive and full of information, positive feedback indicated that the material was well-received.

A brand-new approach concerned not only the event, but also a defining service. Keeping in mind the number of business decisions people must make every day, and considering the necessity of uninterrupted availability of your devices, Seco/Warwick has introduced the original Seco/Predictive system to its offerings.

Seco/Predictive is an advanced, intelligent device control system that can detect potential failures before they occur. Seco/Predictive guarantees high efficiency in supporting maintenance processes and ensures maximum comfort of use.

Seco/Predictive features include:

  • Intelligent, advanced and fully proprietary device control system.
  • The ability to detect failures before they occur.
  • Minimization of unplanned downtime of devices.
  • Compatibility with devices for heat-treatment of metals and vacuum metallurgy.
  • An interactive calendar of inspections and maintenance work.
  • Reports and analysis of functions.
  • Remote access system.

Seco/Predictive is a solution for collecting data from intelligent sensors, saving them in the Seco/Warwick cloud, and additionally analyzing the obtained information and optimization proposals that can be implemented in the device after its audit. The solution is completed with a remote access and notification system, a report and analysis function, as well as an interactive calendar that informs the user of required inspections and maintenance work.

The Seco/Warwick event was also well-received because of the possibility of establishing and strengthening relationships. In an informal atmosphere, participants had networking opportunities during ice-breakers and continuing through the Gala Dinner. The magic show, presented by magicians, Filip and Sławomir Piestrzeniewicz, was the highlight of the evening.
