Ipsen USA president and CEO Patrick McKenna has announced his decision to leave the company topursue another opportunity. Ipsen Group CEOGeoffrey Somary will assume the responsibilities of IpsenUSA CEO.
Somary will also continue in his current role leading the global organization

Somary, who previously served as CEO of Ipsen USA from 2009 to 2017, has been working closely withMcKenna over the past several weeks to ensure a smooth transition for employees and customers.
Bystepping in to oversee the U.S. organization, he provides consistency and alignment with Ipsen’s globalstrategy.
“We regret that Patrick is leaving but look to leverage a flatter organizational structure to speed upinnovation and customer responsiveness,” Somary said. “I look forward to the inspiring and exciting daysahead, working with the best team in the industry.”
