Manufacturing professionals will gather to explore the latest technologies and industry trends and shape the future of metal fabrication and finishing when Fabtech returns to Las Vegas October 21–23.

Coinciding with Fabtech 2026, CCAI will unveil its rebranding to the Industrial Finishing and Coating Association (IFCA), signaling a renewed commitment to serving the evolving industrial finishing and coating marketplace.

“Changing an association name and rebranding is a major undertaking, and one we take very seriously,” said CCAI/IFCA executive director Anne Goyer. “But our board and members believe that our new name, the Industrial Finishing & Coating Association, much better reflects who we are today. We are working hard to bring new and much needed benefits to the industry, and we think the IFCA brand will carry our messages further than in the past.”

CCAI/IFCA’s Finishing Pavilion and Conference continue to thrive and offer great educational opportunities on all aspects of industrial surface finishing. Whether a company is just getting into finishing, looking to solve existing challenges, or upgrading their finishing lines, Fabtechprovides a wealth of products and services to help companies meet their finishing needs.

Ongoing education and workforce development remain central to CCAI/IFCA’s mission. The CCAI/IFCA FINISHING Conference Program at Fabtech provides an important platform for members to share their expertise and deliver practical insights for both emerging and experienced finishing professionals. Led by respected industry experts, the FINISHING technical conference program consistently earns high marks from attendees and is designed to provide knowledge that participants can apply to improve finishing processes, enhance operational performance, and stay current with evolving industry trends.

This year’s FINISHING Conference includes 21 sessions covering a wide range of topics from fundamental to advanced concepts designed to engage and inform all levels of finishing professionals. For complete descriptions of each finishing session and registration information, visit the expo website. Conference fees are separate from the exhibition.

Since 2017, CCAI/IFCA has brought the FAB to FINISH production experience to the Fabtechshow floor, where it has become a highly anticipated annual attraction. This interactive program gives attendees a firsthand look at the complete manufacturing journey of a metal part through the finishing process. Participants follow a designated production path to participating FINISHING exhibitors’ booths, where they experience each stage, including cleaning, powder coating, curing, and quality testing. Year after year, the program continues to gain momentum, attracting growing interest and participation from both exhibitors and attendees.
