Can-Eng Furnaces International Ltd. has recently commissioned two 8,000 lb/hr roller hearth furnace systems used to reheat flat stock for hot forming. These furnaces were selected to replace existing equipment as part of a plant modernization initiative with emphasis on improving efficiency, increasing product quality, and reducing downtime.
The furnaces, which are part of a fully automated system, offer a reduction in energy consumption and floor space, while improving product flow and maintaining the high-throughput requirements when compared to the equipment they replace.
