The Chemical Coaters Association International Finishing Education Foundation (CCAIFEF) is accepting applications for the 2024 Matt Heuertz Scholarship Program. Over the past several years, the program has awarded more than $100,000 to students who are enrolled in programs that could lead to a career in the finishing industry.
The scholarship program named for the first executive director of the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI) aims to attract new talent to the industrial finishing and surface coating technologies industry.
“The Matt Heuertz Scholarship Program is a key initiative sponsored by CCAI to engage with high school seniors and college students as they choose career paths related to the industrial finishing industry,” said CCAI FEF President, Pat Hendrick. “The scholarships provide financial assistance for these students to pursue studies that develop skills they will use to support and propel the finishing industry into the future.”
Qualified candidate applications will be reviewed by the CCAI Finishing Education Foundation Board of Directors. Award amounts vary, are determined by the Board of Directors, and are sent directly to the recipient’s academic institution.
