Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of physical, chemical, and biological sensors. Founded in 1991, the company is headquartered in Ebnat-Kappel, Switzerland.

We specialize in the development and production of temperature sensors, thermal mass flow sensors, humidity sensors and modules, conductivity sensors, biosensors, force and torque sensors, and IR emitters.

iST provides a broad portfolio of sensors based on various technologies to suit virtually any application. Our RTD platinum temperature sensors deliver exceptional robustness, high accuracy, and low drift. Our nickel sensor components provide excellent long-term stability and are easily replaceable. TSic solid-state temperature sensors are factory-calibrated and include an integrated signal converter for analog or digital output—accurate, reliable, and simple to integrate.

Our mass flow sensors are used in flow switches, controllers, meters, and as core elements in leakage or bubble detection systems. Based on thermal measurement principles, they provide long-term stability and are easy to integrate into applications where the fluid is known. iST supports development from sensor-level components to fully digital modules, and evaluation kits are available for the most common flow sensor types.

Humidity sensors from Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG measure from 0% RH to 100% RH and operate within a wide temperature range of –80 °C to +190 °C. They offer outstanding linearity, low hysteresis, fast response times, and high chemical resistance. Our humidity modules combine the appropriate sensor element with precise calibration, including options for dew point measurements.

Our conductivity sensors operate across a broad range from 10 µS/cm to 200 mS/cm and are available in multiple chip sizes and cell constants. This allows the creation of tailored sensor solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
