Thermal Product Solutions announced the shipment of seven Gruenberg Glassware drying ovens to a University in the Midwest.

These Gruenberg ovens have a maximum temperature rating of 650° F and work chamber dimensions of 30” W x 30” D x 42” H. The Gruenberg ovens are constructed from a structural steel frame that supports the 304-stainless steel chamber liner and the exterior stainless-steel sheet metal. All interconnecting struts are non-continuous which keeps the exterior cool.

These drying ovens use a vertical up airflow, which maximizes heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product load. Each oven contains a circulation fan located in a conditioning plenum chamber on the top of the oven. This fan directs air through a diffuser panel on bottom of the chamber and flows vertically up through the product. The air exits the work chamber on the top of the chamber back to the heaters for reheating and recirculation.

“Gruenberg’s technical specification of the products sold are superior to competitors in terms of temperature range, stability, performance, and uniformity,” said Denny Mendler, Gruenberg product manager. Gruenberg is a global manufacturer of thermal-processing equipment.

Unique features of these Gruenberg Glassware drying ovens include:

  • Watlow F4T programmable controller
  • High limit controller to prevent over heating
  • Audible / Visual Alarms
  • NEMA 12 control enclosures
  • UL508A label
  • Main power fused disconnect
  • Door switch
  • RTD sensors
  • Circular chart recorder
  • Pressure differential airflow switches
  • SCR power control
  • 1200Powered exhaust
  • Internal ceramic thermocouple jack panel
