Tenova LOI Thermprocess makes management change

Tenova LOI Thermprocess has made a change in its management organization. Erik Míček, managing director of LOI Thermprocess GmbH since 2010, left the company in June 2020.

Christian Schrade fully assumed Míček’s responsibilities. Torsten Koepchen, in his function as CFO, is responsible for the commercial departments.

As an industry expert, Schrade has gathered extensive experience in the steel mill technology for many years. Since 2010, he has been responsible for the management of Tenova Metals Deutschland GmbH which was merged into LOI Thermprocess GmbH in August 2019. Schrade was appointed as member of the management board of LOI Thermprocess GmbH in October 2019. Together with Koepchen, he will ensure the continuation of all projects and all business activities.

Tenova LOI Thermprocess will continue its cutting-edge technologies in the field of plant engineering and construction. The company aims to expand its global presence in industrial furnace technology and at enhancing the corporate strategy, in line with its commitment to further developing its offer following a more environmentally sustainable approach to heat-treatment processes of steel and aluminum. New corporate goals are based on the needs of plant operators with regard to low-emission production, increased plant efficiency, and digitalization.
