The EQUOTIP hardness tester is the original Swiss rebound tester that uses the dynamic Leeb principle. There are 8 different impact devices to choose from to meet many hardness testing needs, especially on larger parts and parts that are not easily moved to a bench top tester.
The EQUOSTAT R5 probe uses a Rockwell style indenter and a light 5 kg test force to measure thin parts. The R5 probe can be used in a convenient hand actuated clamp for small parts, or in a free-hand mode on larger parts. Custom fixtures can also be used to accommodate unique testing needs.
Both the EQUOTIP and EQUOSTAT probes use a common indicating device for interchangeability, and convert automatically to the other hardness scales like Rockwell (C, B & 15N), Brinell, Vickers, and Shore.
