Since beginning operations in January of 1971, Thermcraft has earned a reputation as a high quality manufacturer who values customer service above all else. We are located in beautiful Winston-Salem, North Carolina, which is part of the Piedmont Triad area of central North Carolina. Since 1971, Thermcraft has continuously supported the local economy of Winston Salem, North Carolina.
At the same time, we have progressively expanded our manufacturing capabilities, product lines, and our sales and distribution networks. Thermcraft is currently recognized as a globally competitive, internationally marketed company with a passion for helping our customers succeed. Thermcraft currently operates in a state-of-the-art facility with 3600 square feet of office space and another 70,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The 12 acre campus offers additional space for future expansion. Two off-site warehouses provide additional storage space.
One of our off-site warehouses was built in 1989. In the late 1980s, the Fibercraft™ line of vacuum formed ceramic fiber products was introduced and the capabilities of those products continue to expand.
The assets of Automated Technology Systems was added in 1990, and in 1991 the full line of Marshall™ tube furnaces was added. Two years later, Thermcraft purchased the assets of Accutherm Inc. and integrated its product lines. In 1996, Thermcraft purchased LAB-TEMP™ Inc. and moved its operations to Winston Salem, NC. In 2001, The TransTemp™ Co. was purchased and its production moved to Winston Salem and in 2008 the Contemporary Kiln company was purchased and relocated as well. Most recently, Thermcraft introduced the eXPRESS-LINE, a full series of standard, quick-ship furnaces, ovens and control systems. All of these additions have helped build the ever-expanding Thermcraft product line with a focus on our customers’ needs.
Utilizing the capabilities of our fully staffed engineering and manufacturing departments, Thermcraft’s products can be customized to meet each customer’s specific requirements, whether it be an electrical change, a size variation or a full product design change. An international network of sales representatives is also available to help facilitate each customer’s specific needs.
